How do you pick materials for a Cape Cod deck?

Materials get chosen for the build itself. On the Cape that means fasteners and structural lumber rated for salt air and coastal weather. I source from suppliers I've worked with for years, and I sign off on every load before it gets installed.

Do I need my own design before we start?

No. The free design planning session is where we figure out what your deck should look like. I'll walk your space, ask about how you actually want to use it, and put a plan together. If you already have a design or you're working with an architect, I'll work with them too.

How long does a typical deck build take?

A standard deck takes me 1-3 weeks depending on size, complexity, and weather. Larger or custom builds run longer, and I give you a real schedule before we start.

How does the quote process work?

It starts with the free design planning session. I come out, walk your property, talk through what you want, and put together a real quote with materials, labor, and timeline. The number doesn't move once you sign.
